OK, so you might have stumbled upon this post because you were looking to find an answer to the burning question, “Is Wealthy Affiliate worth it”.
Well, here’s the low-down. If you are thinking of Wealthy Affiliate as a program that will make you money overnight, then I think you are sorely mistaken because Wealthy Affiliate is NOT the program you should join if you are thinking of making money online instantly.
But if you don’t want to spend any more time reading what I have to say, then head down to the bootcamp and judge for yourself. Did I mention it’s FREE?
“You cannot make people love a service, you have to create a service that people love.” – Kyle,WA co-founder
What Exactly is WA?
Wealthy Affiliate is essentially a membership site, a training platform where you learn about how to start a business and make money online.
Joining it does not guarantee you instant wealth as the founders, Kyle and Carson, emphasize that building an online business, just like any brick and mortar businesses, require you to work.
Wealthy Affiliate is the go-to for you to gain the necessary skills to create and grow your online business. It is also an avenue for you to network with like-minded community of people, some of whom have made a steady income online with the skills that they get from WA.
But what kind of training does Wealthy Affiliate offer? And how can YOU make money from being a member?
The Training in WA
The training mainly focuses on making money online through affiliate marketing, that is, selling other people’s products for commissions. But that’s not saying that you can’t use the skills acquired to promote and sell your own products, be they digital or physical.
If you’re starting out and windering “What do I sell?”, there are lessons that teach you how to find products that people want, that people are looking for. You can also begin by promoting Wealthy Affiliate and receive commissions even if you are not a Premium (paid) member. It all begins with having a website as this will function as a showcase for what you have to offer.
I think I hinted above that joining WA will not cost you anything, especially if you are trying to get a feel of what the program and community is all about.
Let me remind you – this is NOT a trial. The FREE membership allows you to stay as long as you choose, no time limit to your membership.
But I won’t hold back the fact that there ARE limitations to what you can do as a FREE member.
ONE – You are able to create only TWO websites.
TWO – Your ability to participate in discussions and post questions in the community (this is where you get help from other members if you get stuck or need clarification on the training) is limited to seven days.
THREE – You can gain access to some of the training but not all of the lessons.
I understand where you’re coming from. Like you, I was a sceptic and wasn’t sure if I could benefit from WA resources.
So I went for the FREE membership. Why? Because I wanted to test the waters before I dived in. If you are not quite sure if WA is worth it, my advice is join for FREE.
FREE Or Paid?
In WA, there is the paid membership of $47 per month or $359 per year, if you choose to make your payment annually.
Now if you decide to become a Premium member before the 7 days is up, you are given a discount for your first month’s subscription. This means you pay $19 for the first month and $47 per month subsequently.
Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It?
Well, I’ve not come across any other membership sites that allows you to join for FREE, allows you to build two websites at no cost AND provide you training as well.
Sure, there are sites like WordPress and Websitebuilder where you can create your websites. But will you be able to get training on finding niches for your business, the kind of content to create, how to approach writing your posts, how to get visitors – all from the same platform?
I understand that you might still be thinking if Wealthy Affiliate is worth it. Only you can be your own judge. Why not get a feel of the Bootcamp Training and see for yourself :
